doing some learning about film photography, it's simple but somehow complex at the same time.. and i thought the digital rabbit hole went deep

chilled for a while at the park earlier, might poke my head out again, it's warm in my apartment tonight..

now, the difficulty with this is that i for sure want half frame
but most half frame cameras aren't slr :/

suppose that i really don't need an slr with interchangeable lenses, especially when said lenses are kinda old and rare at this point
buuut, if it'd be possible to get an adapter (think i'd go for minolta md(?)), those'd be readily available and there's lots of options too.. there’s even apparently first party adapters from the era, but they seem to be as expensive as the bodies 🥴

monochrome film might be the thing to get me into analog photography
debayered cameras have long been a fascination of mine, but those are kind of hideously expensive for something of a gimmick

but black and white film isn't, if anything it's a little cheaper, and atop that it's still got the versatility for color :3

@tranquillity @liaizon @nicksherman yeah, if the goal is shrimply to render the bill with no other stipulations, one could ask the user to calibrate off of some known scale, kinda like those ruler websites do..
