@Paradox yeah.. i was being very cynical admittedly the original post was written with an argument from someone that jumped down my throat to defend valve in mind acting like gabe newell is valve ripping me apart because i expressed a criticism of that controller screaming easter egg
i suppose the thing to get across is that businesses are really an idea.. not a physical entity capable of doing anything, really a way of grouping folks under that idea folks within those groups can totally use the idea to do lots of good, and often do! but with that comes those that want to use the idea for selfish means, make number go up and those selfish folks, they tend to do so quietly, riding on the achievements of those that want to make things better :/

@Paradox i do actually carry earbuds for me just about everywhere in case things get too loud or i want some music ^^' haven't actually got the level of self confidence to really pull a move like that off
more of a fun hypothetical to pass some time based on something that happened (the bus driver asking a rider to turn down their media)
rereading it i can see how it might've come off a bit dickish and a tone indicator would've been appropriate there :)
