photography, spicy take @quinn can certainly feel that side of it too
slows you down a bit, makes the shooting process a little more deliberate

probably why i like my 50mm super-takumar so much, it's not slow enough to be a nuisance, but it does slow me to the point where i get more good shots :3

photography, spicy take @quinn might not be that they're necessarily loved, but instead what's bundled with the camera
can't imagine most folks know to look for vintage stuff and modern lenses are really pricy even on the used market.. and even in going vintage one tends to miss out on creature comforts like electronic control and autofocus

feels like i couldn't walk into anybody with pets' house without seeing something like this a decade or so ago

generally speaking, dishwasher == food safe, but yeah, that stackablity aspect.. hmm
not sure it'd be much worse than many ceramic bowls tbh, they really like to do that wobbly sideways stacking thing they do :p
