ah.. sprinklers.. my nemesis those really are best run right before dawn, so what's being watered has time to soak it up before the sun flashes it off to avoid water sitting on the plants...
has any municipality ever explicitly stated the reason parks are "closed" at night..? i'm sure i know the actual reasons, i guess i'm just a little curious what they've got to say about it
it's actually a little messed up, those of us that inhabit the night, we pay for and support just as much as those that inhabit the day, the parks, the open spaces, the libraries, and so much more and about all we're allowed to have, allowed to spend time with, out of all of it, is roads the most sterile, living being hostile thing imaginable
i really don't care though, i'll sit in a park on my laptop at 2330 (“closes” at 2200) if i want to :3
a reminder that all your conversations within fedi are stored in your server's database, probably unencrypted the database admin, or anyone else with access to the database can read everything, pretty trivially take conversations that must be private elsewhere please!
by my unscientific measurements, i'm processing about ten percent more time per unit of time if that makes sense like, i'll internally count ten seconds and it'll only have been nine
