@sand got me remembering unrelated things Snail's House ~ Ordinary Songs 2, in particular, hot milk
that bass is so thicc and creamy

haven't listened to them i since i had spotify, thanks for reminding me of their existence, it's been so long <3

@sand i actually just tend to get trapped into the 'buy digital discography' thing that bandcamp does
i like expanding my library, and if it's for a good price, may as well
:cirno_shrug:

but yeah, i did listen to a couple albums after you recommended them ^^

@sand nope :p
they had a couple good beatmaps in osu!, so i ended up getting their discography
discovered t+pazolite, Laur, and かめりあ in that same way

@sand i buy when i can get it on my preferred platforms, especially if it's a newer work
but if it's not available for lossless download, i don't mind torrenting so much

@sand sweeet, thanks for looking that up!
i'll have to pick it up at some point ^^

@sand i feel this so much
something i think about a lot is how more music is being created every minute than can be listened to in that time, it's such a shame that marketers and labels have the public repeating the same ten tracks over and over...

@sand it's unlikely i'll be running out of music anytime soon, statistics place my library at one month, twelve days in length :p
seems we've got pretty good overlap in what we enjoy, might have a look at my
bandcamp collection
it's only a portion of my entire library which, i'm happy to share, i just need to figure an appropriate server... plex is lovely, but most around here don't seem to use it...

@sand ok, i see! that sort of compressed, artificially extra loud sound /pos
decently fond of that myself, it's such a cool technique
Laur ~ Stigma may be of interest, in particular Invader ^^

@sand yep! if you scroll down on an album page, there's a carousel of 'you may also like' albums, as well, there's the 'discover' page

@sand ah, fair
i think a lot of artists kinda fell off soundcloud during one of their controversies... most of my music discovery happens through bandcamp these days, makes it easy to pick up any albums i happen to enjoy :3

@sand ooo, four new albums for me to look at, i have kinda fallen away from modern dubstep though
when i went to see Virtual Riot the first time, it was at a modern dubstep show (wobblefest or wobbleland? something like that) and a lot of it kinda felt samey to be honest
Virtual Riot was super good though, both times i've seen him... that style of show is a little too high energy for me now though..

what's your take on speedcore? The Quick Brown Fox, well.. a lot of
Halley Labs' works might be up your alley... in particular em's older stuff is loud and obnoxious ^^

@sand yep, he does, he just doesn't put out music super quickly
actually got to see him live, and holy hell, he's such a good performer, highly recommended if you're into that kind of thing and you get the chance

Bass Nipple is one of their best for sure, if you ask me most of Army of Mushrooms has a similar kind of energy
