@prettygood pretty alright, bit annoyed with myself for not getting my chores done last night, but not a huge deal, lots of time left in my weekend
prolly gonna mess around with some paracord weaving (braiding?) a little later... after chores of course :3
definitely not procrastinating on getting those done browsing fedi or anything...

@lea @ity ooo! i actually know this one! it's really not all that close at all, for most folks at least
you're looking at more like 100-150mg/kg before healthy folks start dying from it
so, unless you weigh like 20kg, your body should be able to handle it, but it likely won't be pleasant....
want to say the most i've pushed in a day was like 1200mg and... not pleasant, very shaky, the negative effects really start to show themselves at those kind of doses...

trailing commas are such an interesting concept
like, i'm not sure they've even got a proper meaning as it were
but.. they add such a vibe, fascinating thing that

almost like they're continuing the last beat of a word or somesuch, like the tilde in japanese writing (for example うぐうう〜), which in turn seems to have co-opted for other uses in english writing areas

linguistics has gotten wild since the internet...

@ptrc huh, made me think about it a bit and it seems that i tend to use two periods to fill that gap
for me the length of pause in my head goes like: comma < double period < period < ellipsis < ellipsis with extra period

i wonder where these come from, cause like, they're not proper grammar or anything... hmm...
seems i also use implied periods, but i think that a lot of folks online do that too

can't say i know many folks personally that name theirs, though i think in my case it's cause most that i've ever had were already well established characters
but even the more generic plushies i've tended to call what they're based on... or the product name, in the case of ikea plushies

i wonder if it's a somewhat regional thing...
