@Paradox been a long while since i thought about the incredibles, that scene is fantastic, heck, the whole movie is pretty good

hmm.. might be worth a rewatch sooner or later, see what i pick up on now, there's a lot more than surface level from what i recall

@aylamz huh.. sounds like it might be a routing thing then, specially if it is pipewire
might try poking around with qpwgraph and seeing if those programs are hooking to the wrong device
i'm admittedly unsure of a permanent fix (wireplumber comes to mind for some reason), other than checking program settings, but qpwgraph might just make it possibe to manually bash them into working right

@aylamz i want to say that pacmd commands are only temporary, a reboot or restarting pulseaudio should sort it.. i think.. the subcommands i've played with were only temporary at least...

making a bunch of assumptions here, but you might be able to restart it with systemctl --user restart pulseaudio.service
