@ww hmmm, exif data could do the trick, not super computationally expensive either
also have the aspect that plenty of servers do thumbnail generation and that could break most any stegonographic code..

@Paradox i guess... you can totally be very unprofessional with camera bodies at that level too though ^^
take myself for example, i use a couple cameras that the original price was more than a phone and like, decidedly not professional :p

hmm, perhaps a camera, or any tool really, only becomes professional when you're making money with it?
like it can be or not depending on the activity

think i've seen folks pass out (i assume to drug use) a couple times at shows and yeah, it's super disruptive

i think i'd prefer to not do drugs at shows at all, want to take in all the artist is bringing for the audience
like sure, it may intensify the experience, but like, drugs also mess with memory formation..

"professional camera" is such an odd distinction
professionals use all sorts of things, from the top of the product stack to the bottom
plenty of cases of professionals using their phone for {photo,film}ography even..
