@wyatt@wyatt_unhingednods can certainly see where you're coming from admittedly haven't had the chance to try buckling spring or beamspring, so i don't quite know the monarchs of thock (you should still totally give box jades a go, for modern switches they thock good :3)
will say, the get something old argument doesn't hold as well for keyboards in my opinion, as they are, effectively, a wear item, and as they wear out and fail the old ones only get more difficult to obtain..
@wyatt@wyatt_unhinged everything i'm aware of that's still being made is cherry mount these days.. actually have kailh box navy in my board and it's quite satisfyingly thocky
suppose more at the root of it, what don't you like about them/the mount? at the very least, i've found the mount to be quite reliable and it's pretty much just the universal standard right now..
@xyla probably about time to do mine again as well.. white keycaps look great, until they don't ^^' thanks for the reminder, unintended though it may have been
tonight's album selection: Savant ~ Cult been really fond of this sort of thick wubby bass lately it seems.. trouble is, i don't know how to find more of it :neocat_blep:
i regularly chat with folks on here that are younger than the social media platforms i remember seeing start weird to think about a world that.. just always had them..
found another reason why i bounced off twitter way back when, tight character limits i seem to have basically two modes of thinking (insert two wolves meme here), long form (like so) and short form shitposting (and that's actually quite new in the scheme of things)
so even if i had my short form thinking back then, there wouldn't have really been much of substance there like i know that the thread thing people do exists, but like, for every post? with my determination to fit thoughts into a character limit? yeah, not for me..
might've found myself as part of that "weird twitter" (think that's what it's called) had it clicked with me, but i'm not sure i'd've had another niche like i do here and it certainly wouldn't have felt like home (like here :3)
