@rail and fwiw, it was actually that over smoothed effect that pushed me into 'proper' cameras in the first place
think it was a particular shot of some blossoms on my phone where the bokeh just felt.. fake?
i dunno, some filter in their stackup was failing and causing artifacting

so like, seriously impressive embracing it instead of just throwing it to the reject pile
being able to edit photos is an art in and of itself
