@crmsnbleyd ooo, hadn't considered cron, basically what it was designed for ^^'

@crmsnbleyd webhook (can masto do that?) -> program that edits the html based on like, an id tag or somesuch?

python could do really well for a daemon that does this

@ww i can certainly encourage a trip out to your coaster park, the whole nausea warning thing tends to just be part of the theatrics in my experience, something to bump the anxiety a little bit before the ride, get the adrenaline flowing
they don't actually want folks puking after the ride, it's lots more to deal with than it's worth :3

and even if the coasters are a bit too much, in my experience, there should be thrill rides too which are lots of fun, can probably research it beforehand?

@ww counterpoints: wicked this one's got its low point just before the final braking section coming into the station and cannibal which has a tunnel going six meters underground
the start and end of any coaster need not be at the low point, and often, the station is at a middle point, roughly speaking

though, i can see what you're getting at, but, at least in myself, the emotional coasters, they tend to fall off at a middle or perhaps low neutral.. the lowest points, for as awful as they can be, are only temporary... and even if the coaster breaks down and you're stuck in the low point for a bit, it's still only temporary.. it might just take a bit of work to return from

massive tangent: i've gotta get back out to lagoon at some point, gosh, wana ride some roller coasters so bad... wicked is awesome... must've spent a couple hours riding that one repeatedly with my sibling around the time cannibal released :3

@nicole yeah, i suppose that wouldn't be such an inaccurate way to put it ^^'
sort of, socialize when i want to, rather than be required to
hanging out in little bee nesting groups, but not be tied to a queen or the like
and of course, buzz about and eat the nectar, move the pollen, that sorta chill existence

@nicole that it seems quite so simple
like, they're still bees, which are awesome little creatures, but the bees most think of, they've got colonies and obligations... without the colony, they don't do so good
but the solitary bee, there's not quite so much of that.. they can make it on their own, independent, strong little things... and they're bees! the way they move, flying everywhere under their own power... long since been a fantasy of sorts for me
i suppose the lives of butterflies, moths or perhaps hummingbirds could be quite comparable, in what they need to do, how they move and so on
dragonflies also fit the bill quite nicely for me :3

making noises and vocalizing is a great time, animals weren't meant to be silent all the time, perhaps sometimes, but certainly not always
