*key cat mode meta, i guess?
i wonder if a lot of *key users turned on cat mode, as a 'what's this button do' and just sorta forgot they turned it on....
not to throw shade, but it's a little difficult to take a post seriously when there's 'nyas' all over the place.. thankfully i've learned to read through them
a potential feature could be a serious mode flag for posts that temporarily disables cat mode, perhaps have it automatically turn on with content warnings or particular visibility scopes (user configurable of course)?
iunno, it's not really a problem, and i think it's the client that actually does the catmode transformation, so perhaps an option to disable it in clients that support it?
just to be clear, i'm not subposting or criticizing any folks, just noting some observations and offering potential solutions
plenty of thoughts that slosh around in this head of mine and sometimes they need to leak out, ya know?
