it's probably my dislike for async code that's my difficulty with rust on the backend, i see async code and my ability to parse rust sorta goes out the window... wasm isn't too bad though i've got a project that's a few years old at this point, so.. no idea how relevant it'll be for modern rust wasm stuff, but perhaps as a starting point... a running example can be found here (also wow, my homepage is old and i don't use it anymore...)

no kidding, huh, that's almost as long as js has been around as i recall.. that's awesome!
yeah, python and its needy whitespace requirements.. bweh, give me brackets any day ^^
