re: you tube ai age scanning @boghan ik that if yt-dlp is available in $PATH mpv can use it ok.. totally unsure how that'll all work out when age restricting does happen...

i take it you're looking more for an alternative user interface of sorts though?
invidious does seem to be nice enough, but can be a bit slow at times...
i might have to try selfhosting that and see if it's any quicker ​:neocat_think:​
