@boghan ik that ifyt-dlp is available in $PATH mpv can use it ok.. totally unsure how that'll all work out when age restricting does happen...i take it you're looking more for an alternative user interface of sorts though?
invidious does seem to be nice enough, but can be a bit slow at times...
i might have to try selfhosting that and see if it's any quicker :neocat_think:
