thinking on drug restrictions
the more i read about these things, the more i think, society fucked up bad in the 70sinstead of researching these compounds properly and understanding the effects (both positive and negative) they said, 'no, it's bad for you, you can't have it'
like, there's a lot of potential for bad things to happen, sure, but the potential for good i think seriously outweighs it
it's also kinda funny how properly dangerous pharma has stuck around and only gotten more pervasive over time (i.e. opioids (ok, not necessarily dangerous, but certainly easy to abuse and exceptionally addictive)), but relatively harmless and self regulating chemicals like mdma and lsd are big nonos...
