can any of the folks around here recommend a travel book series? like guides to particular places and countries
in particular i'd be looking for books on japan and central europe
rick steves is a name that's coming up a lot in my searches as well as the 'rough guides' series, but no idea if those are any good, and like, recommendations are so much more valuable than online reviews

anyway, if you'd like to, boosts would be appreciated ^^
