@Paradox yep, this might be another way i'm broken /pos
literally no difference in meaning in those objects for me, intuitively speaking (barring the noose, but that's an outlier)
socially speaking, i understand that they have their places in different contexts and give different messages to others
but if i was say, interviewing someone, if they were wearing a collar, choker or necktie would have very little bearing on if i hired them or not
and in some contexts, say, a wedding, a necklace and necktie totally have the same social meaning, they're just gendered differently

i guess, clothing to me, of any sort, is all function over form... though that has been changing somewhat lately.. hmm
even then, not as a tool to judge others, simply one to make me feel differently about myself at that moment

i'm strangely ok with tight, form fitting accessories anywhere but my neck.. bowties, neckties, and even dress shirt collars bring rather extreme discomfort.. to even imagine a latex necklace kinda makes me anxious
