@Paradox i could understand that with too intense of light, but that'd physically burning the photosites
i'm not sure mirrorless cameras would be feasible if it were the case, but admittedly, i've not researched into it at all
hmm... thinking on it though, your phone's camera sensor is pretty much always exposed to light...
