@yellow i personally think that it can be ok, if, it's properly attributed
oftentimes it's as simple as linking back to the original page it was sourced from (or really giving the name of the artist and the title of the work, search engines are powerful!)
it's worth attributing, in my opinion, even when sharing a few lyrics from a song
in not doing so, it kinda implies that the reposter made that particular piece, which, feels really dishonest to me

but, when it's done correctly, it can help to share an artist's works and make more folks aware of them... kind of a massive catch 22
though, i think, above all, respect the artist's wishes, if they say, 'no reposting', don't repost it!
