cw meta; a counter argument to those that claim it's censorship it's really not, like, it's in the name, 'content warning'
it's much closer to
an ESRB/PEGI rating, a movie rating, a 'viewer discretion advised' bumper or even an epilepsy warning at the start of a game... none of those are considered to be censorship, right? (now, what's done to achieve those ratings can be, but that's a whole different topic)
all it does at the end of the day is tell you what's in the box before you chose to partake of what's inside

all it is, is a show of empathy for your fellow beings, a quick 'hey, i could see how this is upsetting or uncomfortable, let me not subject you to the post if you don't want to be'
like, if it was more normalized on the big servers (like the actually big ones (mastosoc, cough)), and heck, social media in general instead of flashing 'xyz person did something dumb or bad, go be mad' every other post, i'd probably be way more into them

now, i don't think less of those that don't use them (excluding some topics, but they get used there anyway, typically speaking), but, i do think far higher of those that do
and like, even if they go forgotten every now and again, it doesn't take away that respect earned
that's all to say, i suppose, if you're trying, you're doing more than most

also, unless the description is blatantly, or like maliciously incorrect, you can't get them wrong... i've seen a few worry about that kind of thing and their CWs always seem to be in good faith, so, to those that do worry about that kinda thing, you're more than likely doing alright ^^
ah, and that's not a criticism of joke or vestigial CWs, those aren't super a part of this... but that was probably obvious and i'm overthinking

edit: totally forgor about the whole age attachment to ESRB/PEGI and movie ratings and like, how for some those are actually enforced >~<
