@Paradox it's kinda funny, i can't think of any celebrity that really fits that description (albeit, i distance myself pretty far from the media that surrounds them)
closest analogue i can thing of are like big youtube creators, biggest of being at like 1.5M subscribers, much bigger than that and it feels like the power dynamics are starting to float back in

and like, thinking on why i feel that way about those particular creators, i think it's the willingness to interact with their fans, answer the silly questions, play about with them, despite the optics of it

ah, anyway, i'm probably overanalyzing it, you, being as down to earth as you are, i think you wouldn't really form the sorts of parasocial relationships i think are necessary for those sorts of power dynamics to form... to be honest, i think if you were, you'd vibe in a way i wouldn't be quite so comfortable interacting with ^^
