@ww ah, i was taking it from a cultural and social awareness perspective, rather than an economic onefeels like so many don't realize that what what we do in the states has much further reaching effects than they seem to think
or like, that there's tens of thousands of years of interesting culture and history out there, not just the last thousand or so here in the states... so much more around the world than just the ancient civilizations we got taught about in history class...
take chinese and japanese history for example, it's so incredibly rich and like, not a whiff of it from school
