@Paradox it does, but the way gravy is typically done is also boring, like, smooth brown salty liquid, doesn't that add some excitement to your potatoesnow, a cream of mushroom gravy, that makes a meal
but you go making hutspot (i guess as it's known? it's apparently dutch to go adding other root veg) and it's a feast
i can recommend parsnips.. next time you go to make a stew or other carrot containing food, consider tossing in a parsnip too
it'll amp that carrotyness so good
