i do generally avoid writing on paper as much as possible though
not only is my handwriting pretty messy, i think i grip the writing device wrong and my hand starts to hurt in pretty short order
it is notable that the hurting doesn't really apply to fountain pens, but i also don't write enough to justify inking those very often ^^'
