@Rasp if you're willing to head a bit north up into the fort collins/loveland region, looking at the maps west along the us-34 there's tons of spots up towards estes park
wouldn't recommend staying in estes itself as a - expensive and b - it's just a city at the end of the day

some spot in or around boulder might also do you well (and you're ok with staying in a city), but i'm much less certain about that region..

how cheap are we talking, and how long? if i can find a bit of time today i might be able to help you find an exact spot if that sound interesting ^^
