@wyatt i generally like to be up to date on things so i can understand what is going on around me
kinda sucks to be left out and out of the loop, not be able to see what the joke is and laugh at it together

and like, sticking in the past, to what you know while the world moves forward around you, grows and learns new things is kinda sad tbh
shows a lack of curiosity, willingness to try new things, and desire to never move outside one's comfort zone

never any harm in learning about things, even if those things may be harmful to the world at large
