thinking about the phrase "live every day as if it's your last".. kind of a silly one if you ask me
like, i get the idea behind it, go do that thing you want to do cause you might not get another shot, from the literal sense though? it kinda says go do a thing even if you might get injured, and if you do, who cares, it was your last day..

kinda related is "the first day of the rest of your life"
i like this one a heap better, especially with the realization that every day is the first day of the rest of your life
it's totally used in negative connotations, like, 'you'll never get past this point, you're stuck here forever'
i don't really think that has to be its only meaning though
more along the lines of thinking, the rest of my life, huh, i should make the most of it to make the rest of my life better
it also kinda lets the past go, being the first day and all

iunno how to conclude this whole thing or even if i could, but yeah, some thoughts
