also, there seem to be some confusing arrow key handlers in threads but nothing that breaks functionality completely like the time i tried out sharkey briefly, eightish months ago
threading is a bit of an acquired taste as well, it seems, but i wonder how much of it is just my being used to akkoma-fe now and how much more sense this'd probably make as an outofthebox experience though
oh okay yeah there is a notificationary badge in there alright i think it just doesn't update on its own [good] while the site actively being used [and will only show up on refresh] [but also quickly fixable without even touching the code itself if necessary]
