notably, there are small adjustments to color cast, brightness and a quick rotation
feels kinda odd that the 3ds can't natively take 3:4 photos, it's got a rotation sensor...

will certainly be experimenting more with this, the photos out of it are such a vibe

@aurelia oh, wow you weren't kidding about memory usage there... honestly thought my first real sticking point would be disk throughput
at least, that's what fishpost was choking on a bit till it got moved (but that disk was painfully slow and a bit latent at times...)

i'll have to research into cgroups a bit, i think i recall it coming up in some discussions about systemd user services, thanks!
