and railyards and industrial areas
so many missed photo opportunities, this is going to end up getting me in trouble some day
like, who do you even talk to about getting into these places properly...
thinking on drug restrictions
the more i read about these things, the more i think, society fucked up bad in the 70s
instead of researching these compounds properly and understanding the effects (both positive and negative) they said, 'no, it's bad for you, you can't have it'
like, there's a lot of potential for bad things to happen, sure, but the potential for good i think seriously outweighs it
it's also kinda funny how properly dangerous pharma has stuck around and only gotten more pervasive over time (i.e. opioids (ok, not necessarily dangerous, but certainly easy to abuse and exceptionally addictive)), but relatively harmless and self regulating chemicals like mdma and lsd are big nonos...
melatonin musings (research, not use)
melatonin is such a weird little {chemical,hormone}
it seems to do a lot, the mechanisms of how it works are generally known
but we don't seem to know all of what it does other than the obvious effects
it's also interesting reading older articles on it stating how it'll become a regulated substance, like dmt
but it actually seems more pervasive than ever, i don't recall hearing much about it when i was young, but it seems to be really well known now
